I arrived late but haveca really warm welcome by the staff, I was offered a mulled wine, but due to me having to drive I had to decline.
The afternoon tea was so out of this world delicious and very fresh, I wanted more but head said yes, but stomach said no.
This place is a delightful and a great visit if you are hungry and want something better than fried takeaway food, all I will say is

YUMMY

Fantastic Indian food in a cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff, clean and with OK prices. Food is served fast from the kitchen, the grill takes about 15-20 min. They have a large number of tables available, even outdoor. Private parking is available and they will happily facilitate access to disabled persons. Gets crowded during match days so make sure you book in advance in such scenarios. They don't deliver, but they do takeaway.

I've been going there for years, I first went with friends from work and now I take my whole family there. We don't eat curry anywhere else, I live 20 minutes drive away and I drive there for takeaways. It's a family friendly place where you can enjoy a great meal and a pint aswell. It has its traditional pub area and a be area at the back. We eat there at least once a month. If I had the money I would buy the place.

Found this place online - actually, it's probably the nearest place to eat to where I am staying - The Park Inn Hotel. The special was a Lababdar, which I tried the lamb version. Apparently, Lababdar means a strong desire for something and complete surrender to it. So I had it with some pilau rice. I know, it's a bit basic, but hey, when you are eating alone and don't want a takeaway, well it's the next best thing to eating at home. Well service was friendly, food arrived quickly and all in all I thoroughly enjoyed my sample of the west midlands. I think the place is quite popular with locals.

Firstly I would like to say that the Customer Service was excellent. The starters, wine and cocktails were fabulous. The one thing that disappointed both of us was the main courses were incredibly salty. We have had tale away service from this restaurant during lockdown and the food was amazing. My husband on Friday 9th October when we actually visited the restaurant had the same main thst he has had the twice we have had takeaways but said it was very salty. This will not stop us from ordering a takeaway but just hold back on the salt as we had to request more water.
Apart from that the experience was very nice.

Lesley & Richard Gwinnett

I have been coming here since the late 80s/early 90s.
Methi chicken - the best. You cannot go wrong. I come from Solihull especially to eat and get a takeaway.
Naan selection excellent. Not fine dining, but you cannot go wrong with good, simple Indian BBQ. Tend not to have the red coloured tikkas, kebabs etc. Methi Chicken - better than Nandoes. Don't forget to get the brown chutney and fresh green
chillies!
Only down side - I had one slightly bad experience when the owner was on holiday, where I was served burnt bread. But a little telling off to the staff and the bar and haven't had a problem since.
Keep it going Mr Sukhi!

Visited for lunch with a friend as it was his birthday. Again had trouble parking, looks like they are clearing a space for a car park which will help though. Ordered the lunchtime platter for me and a curry with fried rice for my friend, along with a pint and a large coke, total cost £20. Also ordered a chicken tikka to takeaway and they were good enough to get this ready for when we left. Food arrived really quickly which was good as it was our lunch hour, the platter was huge, 6 different types of meat along with chips and sauce, all of them different and tasty. No problems with the curry either and all was lapped up. Really great meal again and I can see why it is always winning curry pub of the year.

After a few hours in Walsall we almost crawled from Asda (you can roll if you go down the slope) into the BCA. As usual after clothes shopping I was over excited, I pointed to my beer glass admiring it & knocked the beer everywhere! The lady very kindly got me another drink, & she really didn't need to. Mr DW had his usual pie, I'd already had pie that week so I had the Chilli, OMG I was not disappointed!!! The chips, & garlic bread just about sent me to heaven. I wished they did takeaway as I'd've took a batch home with me for the freezer. So look no further if you're in Walsall, as this is the place to be, great food, a decent drink, good atmosphere, & unbelievable prices, what more can anyone want? Thanks again BCA :-)

We traveled up to watch the cup game, drank at the pub beforehand and and ate there afterwards. Great venue for football drinks as there are multiple bars with quick service and a wide selection of beer (even with my favourite, blue moon served with an orange wedge). Away fans and home fans mixing without any trouble gave the place a real good atmosphere. One negative was no takeaway alcohol even though it was plastic glasses. After the game I asked for a recommendation, so got the a chicken claypot - vindaloo hot. This was a HOT curry which is how I like it, so I was very impressed. Had tasty naan bread too, which was huge. Other people around me were eating massive chunks of chicken tikka - definitely wish I'd ordered that too. Staff were great at dealing with fans who started to sing. Only wish it was closer so I could visit again

'Welcome to The Vine', 'can I help you', 'enjoy your evening' - phrases you won't hear at The Vine!
Beautiful decor, clean toilets (important!), lovely fresh, hot and delicious curry at takeaway prices.
We had veg samosas, onion bhajis, chicken Manchurian (the best dish of the night!), goat curry, bullet naan and masala fries (the worst dish of the night - bland, frozen chips with a teeny tiny bit of spice sprinkled over them).
Drinks prices were okay but the diet Pepsi didn't contain a single bubble - when I mentioned it to the bar man, I was told "that's just how it is". Oh, that's alright right then!
The people opposite us complained about the greasy poppadoms, to be told 'they're all like that, they're deep fried". Umm.
This place has an amazing reputation locally and it is is a nice venue, but it's not awesome and that's the fault of the staff. Take some pride in your work!!
