Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas is abundent with ethnic restaurants, but very few with any real zing to them. The Spice Lounge is relatively new having replaced the previously most awful Balti Nights Restaurant next to Middletons on the Willenhall Road.
The restaurant whilst not having a brilliant surrounding, is actually very pleasantly decorated inside. It is pretty standard Bangladeshi fayre, but the quality is somewhat better than most. Service is timely, helpful and not overbearing. Food quality is ok with the starters being being more memorable than the mains, but the naans being outstanding.
No drinks licence makes this BYO eatery healthy for your wallet too.I wouldn't want to use this place for a special occasion or similar, but for a mid week get out of the house evening it is a very good option. I recently also noticed there is £10 meal deal midweek which is quite attractive.

I have been eating regularly at this restaurant weekly, for nearly a year now and have never ever had reason to complain about anything! The service is always prompt and friendly! Who cares about the surroundings, its whats inside that matters and it delivers bang on. I've eaten at many Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants in Wolverhampton, but to be honest Spice Lounge seems to always come out tops for me and my friends, the food is simple and perfect for any occasion.

Always get good service @this restaurant along with good food and value for money which is very important, you can take your own drinks as it is not licensed. what more needs to be said..I would recommend a visit
