Sing with Madeline Bell and the English Chamber Orchestra!
  • The Crossing at St Paul’s

    WS1 1DA
  • Saturday 2nd March - Until Saturday 6th April
Walsall conductor and arranger Matthew Jones is swelling the ranks of his choir!

Following rave reviews of February’s sell-out concert marking Madeline’s 80th birthday, she returns with the world’s most recorded orchestra of its kind. This unique event at London’s Cadogan Hall on 13th April 2024 will see Bell reunite on stage with Roger Cook for the first time in 30 years, and will also feature Ian Shaw and Paul Gambaccini. More can be read about it here:

You too could be part of this very special concert, as Matthew (the self-proclaimed “Patron Saint of the Tone-deaf”) believes he can teach anybody to sing!

Rehearsals will take place at The Crossing at St Paul’s, Darwall Street on six consecutive Saturdays from 2nd March, from 12noon to 6pm. Thanks to Walsall Council, free parking for participants has been organised at Saddlers Shopping Centre.

To whet the appetite, here’s one of the songs the choir will be singing, sung here by Angela Primm:
