On average, an emergency air ambulance takes off every 10 minutes in the UK flying 365 days a year in daylight hours.The County Air Ambulance Trust is the Midlands oldest independent air ambulance charity.Air ambulances in the West Midlands are by far the most effective way of transporting critically injured or ill patients to the hospital most suited to their needs.The Helicopter Emergency Landing Pad (HELP) Appeal will bring new or improved helicopter access to all key Accident & Emergency Hospitals and Trauma Centres in the region.The cost of operating the air ambulance Helicopter Emergency Medical Structure in Walsall and the West Midlands is financed entirely by voluntary donations.You can make a difference.
