My recent trip to the Caribbean really put Jamaica on the map for me rightly so. I am already thinking about my next trip!
This beautiful island really has something to offer all types of holiday makers from families to romantic getways and not forgetting groups.
Jamaica offers what you would expect from the Caribbean stunning beaches, mountains, culture and beautiful things and so much more. Jamaica has a real flavour great people, mouth watering food, first class hotels but mostly top class service.
I found it interesting as I travelled around this beautiful island that each resort and hotel offered a really unique experience for my customers I strongly feel if I send holiday makers to this island located in the heart of the caribbean they are sure to have a wonderful experience that will last a lifetime. I was lucky enough to spend time in Negril, Montego Bay (Mo Bay) & Ocho Rios so got a real feel for the island.
One important thing to remember about Jamaica there is a multitude of things to do if you can tempt yourself away from the tropical beaches and top class hotels you certainly will not be bored.
There is no beating the great outdoors and Dunns River Falls in Ocho Rios is a staircase of waterfalls which is a 600 Foot waterfall it can get very crowded so I would recommend you visit early morning and check that it is not a day where a cruise is in port before you visit to really appreciate the natural beauty of the stunning falls.
Also close by I was lucky enough to visit the Mystic Mountains and experience an exhilarating bobsled ride down Jamaica's famed Mystic Mountain Ocho Rios. You also have caves, plantations and so much more to visit so anyone who wants to discover the outdoors while in Jamaica a stay in Ocho Rios would be a great resort to stay in.
Swimming with the dolphins is in the Top 10 bucket list items and there is no better place than to visit Dolphin cove and swim with the dolphins in the natural environment.
Sampling the famous Jerk Chicken is an absolute must along with curried goat you will find this easily available from road side stalls to all of the hotel restaurants and if you are lucky you will be able to listen to Bob Marley tracks while enjoying the fantastic food.
I was lucky enough to have visited the island previously as I got married in 2011 at the Hilton Rose Hall Mo Bay I had a beautiful simple garden ceremony with my very own steel band which really was special. It was amazing to be able to guarantee sunshine on my wedding day and have my close family with me in paradise to watch me tie the knot and have a modern weddingmoon.
