Great park. Lots of history here. Great walks, trail and tarmac. Good for both walkers and runners and some great trails leading back to the canal towpaths for trail runners to get out on and explore. The cafe is also a lovely peaceful place to relax after a walk or run with cakes and I scream or you can order a breakfast. Staff who look after the park are really friendly, hardworking and dedicated to making this a beautiful space for the community. Lots of wildlife for the kiddies to come and see. Play areas, outdoor gym. Skatepark, ball park, water park open during summer.
We used Franklins Removals in January 2026 to relocate from Bolton to SW France to begin our new lives there. From picking up all our household goods and furniture at storage units and delivering it to our new home in rural France, all the team worked brilliantly together . Bev in the office talked us through all the required customs documentation and paperwork giving examples of how to complete the French paperwork. Both the pick up team ( Dave and team) and the delivery team(Lee and Paul ) worked tirelessly and were careful with our stuff. All members of the team were responsive to our emails/ calls and kept us informed throughout the process. Franklins were not the cheapest quote we had but they ticked all the boxes for us, and removed a quite a bit of the stress of relocation to another country for us. We're so pleased that we used them! Would highly recommend Franklins for an international house move!
What a brilliant birthday party! From the moment the DJ kicked things off, the dancefloor was buzzing all night. The casino tables added a classy, fun twist and kept everyone entertained, while the candy cart was a huge hit with guests of all ages. Massive thanks to Jabs Event Hire for pulling everything together and making it a birthday to remember.
I couldn’t have asked for a better setup on our wedding day. The DJ kept the dancefloor full all night, the casino tables were a huge hit with our guests, and the 360 video booth captured so many fun memories. Jabs Event Hire were absolutely fantastic from start to finish and helped make our wedding truly unforgettable.
My daughter and I love Kiran's. We often eat in and have take-aways. The service is always spot on and the food is delicious. I would recommend the Balti King Samosa. Tasty and huge portions!
