Friendly service and great food. The food is really delicious and is cooked to perfection. It's not the usual generic pub grub that you find in chains.

We went to our sons wedding reception, great atmosphere, food was good, the spread on the buffet was extensive, and a good variety , the host and partner, where very attentive and the staff where great, which made for a good evening, well done, and would definitely Go again.

Another lovely meal at a very friendly pub . The staff are really nice people and do their best to make you feel welcome . The food is really tasty and there's a good selection of beer . The location is the best in Pelsall with great views over the canal and common with a fantastic decking area for sunny days . There's plenty of room and lots of tables so we also felt very safe . They even allow dogs in the bar .

We booked a table for lunch and when we arrived the eating area was quite with only 2 other tables taken. We ordered 2 courses each. Over an hour and 20 mins for the starters which were tiny portions although tasty. 6 rings of squid balanced on croutons?!. The mains took a further 30 mins after the plates were collected,
The roasts were decent portions lots of meat, the gammon was fatty, and very thick slices. The roasted veg was tough to cut and what seemed like shop brought stuffing balls were dry. We had waited far too long with no apology and the food wasn’t worth the wait. Shame as the place has lovely outdoor space and the prices very reasonable. I really wanted to like it but sadly not worth a second visit.

Lovely setting, popped in one Monday evening, sat on the refurbished decking over looking the canal. Decided to try the menu and had a very nice meal. Reasonable prices, nice inside. Would recommend
