Really lovely food and excellent service at Salt and Pepper last Sunday. I had the chicken shish and hubby had mixed grill. Everything was full of flavour, really tasty and cooked to perfection. The bread and olives to start were great and for dessert we had the Turkish rice pudding (sutlac) which is served cold, Turkish tea to round it all off. Couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend a visit. We’ll be back soon.

Super spot … came based on previous reviews and it exceeded my expectations. Was visiting the city from Ireland. Do Go! Excellent Turkish food, tasty quality meat, fresh herby bread, the most beautiful salad on the side, fresh sauces. Friendly & prompt service by Sarah. This place is a real gem! Might just have to head to Istanbul to get more of this. No where in Ireland like this! Keep up the good work .. very refreshing.

First time here tonight and I have to say the service was excellent , not only did we have bread dips hummus salad tea and dessert on the house .. the food was exceptional.. I would highly recommend this place and definitely somewhere I will return in the future , a special mention to Sarah who could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible also the manager very kind and pleasant ..

Wonderful place in the back streets of Walsall!
Tonight was our second visit here and it will not be our last!! Friendly staff, clean, warm, buzzing place.
There is a good choice of food, something for everyone. The food was fresh, presented well and absolutely delicious!! The portion sizes are fab too!! We loved the complimentary bread, olives, dips and salad, not many places give you this now. They also gave us a complimentary Turkish desert.
Sarah, our waitress was really friendly along with all of the staff. Will certainly be returning very soon!

Found this place through a Google Search of 'Restaurants near me', and given the fact I love Turkish food, and with an already high rating, I felt it was a safe bet.
It was more than a safe bet. What a find. These guys know what they're doing. High quality meat, expertly cooked over the hot coals, with fragrant rice, and fresh bread, salad and dips/sauces - I was blown away.
I'm here for 24 hours on business, otherwise I'd be going again tomorrow night... and the night after that.
