Sadie Dilloway is supporting me in the work I do with a charity on helping them train their volunteers and I because of a great and informative 1:1 I had had with Sadie, I knew that their safeguarding needs weren't met and was able to help them add this to our training by adding Sadie into our offer.
I called Sadie and told her about the situation and the charity's need for safeguarding, but that they also didn't know exactly what they needed. She said "Leave it with me" and just days later she was able to give me a complete overview of exactly what they will need and gave a couple of options on how she could support them on this. I was then able to go back to the charity and explain what they will need safeguarding-wise and that Sadie is the person for this and they are now making arrangements to move forward with this.
The charity is now very happy and look forward to supporting their volunteers with the help of Sadie and her amazing knowledge and support around safeguarding.
