Needed a celebration cake at short notice and Cakes A Daisy came up trumps! Cake looked amazing - victoria sponge covered in chocolate with chocolate dipped strawberries and ferrero rocher chocolates. Everyone admired the cake and the victoria sponge was gorgeous, most of our guests returned for seconds! If you want a cake that looks special and a little bit different and that tastes fantastic too, this is the place to go.

Visited on Friday lunchtime with friends. Perfect venue to meet for a cup of tea and cake. Enjoyed a slice of Victoria sponge and it was delicious. Will definitely be back!

Visited today as treat from my daughter. We had afternoon tea served with complimentary glass of bucks fizz. What a lovely selection of sandwiches, salad and vegetable crisps, followed by home made cakes. There were Victoria sponge cakes, a fabulous lemon posses I ate both... my daughter polished of the chocolate fudge, followed by scones with jam and clotted cream. We couldn't eat it all so had it put in a bag for later. Post of tea and fruit tea as well. A lovely treat which we will definitely do again.

called in to buy a sweet treat for the wife, the cake was lovely but I did think it a little expensive, I would return again but maybe for a special occasion because the cake was beautiful .

A lovely little tea room/cafe on a Main Street. Parking is a problem and we found a space in a side street. The waitress told me you can sometimes park in the church just a little way up the street or there is a public car park in the pub down the street opposite. Either way you'd have a little walk to get there but well worth a visit. I would suggest you book to avoid disappointment though.
Visited with a friend for lunch. We had a sandwich, mine was tuna mayo served on a slate tray with a salad dressing, plenty of filling in sandwich. Friend had chicken and bacon which she enjoyed. We then had waffle and oh my, how scrumptious were they. Waffle heaven. The waffles were huge, you could have half a one but we decided on a whole one when we were told we could take home anything we didn't eat - but how do you leave something so delicious. You get to choose your own toppings and flavour of ice cream and sauce. My waffle was covered in Nutella then I had Turkish delight with ice cream, cream and raspberry sauce and my friend had Nutella, crunchie, ice cream, cream and caramel sauce. Of course we ate it all and I have to say I didn't eat for the rest of the day. It was gorgeous but I think I'd have the half one next time. Unless I don't have a sandwich.
The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Prices reasonable, the waffle was around £4.50 and the bill came to just over £20 for the two of us, most definitely worth it. You can pay by card. Will certainly be back.

Visited this shop last week and brought two cakes to take away. I paid £3.50 for a slice of Victoria sponge cake. unable to see what was happening behind the counter, I assumed the lady had broken a piece of cake off my slice as it may have been too big for the small box she was putting it in. To my dismay when I gave the cake to my friend the slice was so small she'd broken it getting it in the box. It was nice but the serving was incredibly mean for the price.

Visited here with my mom on my birthday last week. We were really surprised how busy it was considering it was mid-morning on a Friday but it just shows how popular this little place is. We experienced great service from the very friendly staff and had a really difficult decision to make choosing between all the great cakes that were available. We decided on a toasted tea cake each followed by sharing a piece of the red velvet cake and the chocolate cake. Both cakes were lovely and fresh, and we were really surprised what a large slice you get. Mom washed her food down with a pot of tea while I opted for a chocolate milkshake. I was certain for what we had our bill would be quite expensive so we were taken aback for it to be so reasonable. We had a lovely time and we'll certainly be back soon (although we'll definitely book next time just to make sure we don't miss out)

This is a lovely little desert shop. The staff are friendly and the shop is nicely decorated.
There is parking on the high street just a few metres on the same road.
The food was all delicious and reasonably priced.
They do freshly made cakes, waffles, milkshakes and lots more. They even do half size waffles so you can have something else too if you fancy it.
I would recommend booking though as people were being turned away when I was there.

Must mention the brownies I'm told they were lovely. I had a lovely white chocolate shortbread mmmmm words fail me it was nice. Take a chance go see /taste for yourself. We had a lovely experience I really needed to share it with anyone that loves their home made cakes with a family atmosphere. Well done guys I will be back for more.

We found this more than just a tea room. Cakes, brownies, milkshakes and anything similar are their speciality and WOW!!! They do not disappoint! We had a freshly made sandwich, then we had to choose which cake - very spoilt for choice!
Such a beautiful place, they are all so welcoming! The only thing is we are now trying to find any excuse to order a full cake to have ourselves :)

Lovely little cake date with my friend. Excellent service and even made every effort to ensure our table was sorted straight away and the baby was comfortable in a suitable high chair. The food was lovely. And presented beautifully. Great service as always. Look forward to our next visit :)

Great sandwiches, luscious cakes and scones and a smooth as you like lemon posset. Throw in unlimited Earl Grey and a Bucks Fizz (or orange juice for the driver ... which still somehow tastes better in a champagne flute) and you're laughing. Helpful and friendly staff - and the cafe has a great back story too. You need to book 48 hours in advance for the full on afternoon tea, but the regular menu is always available and they do take away cakes, too. Wish they'd been open when I lived there!

Cakes-A-Daisy was highly recommended to us by a friend. We visited today for afternoon tea and were very impressed. Service, quality and decor second to none. Will definitely visit again and recommend.
This is the first time we have used Cake-A-Daisy having ordered a Lemon Birthday Cake. I ordered my cake quite late but it was no problem as I was treated in a professional way also my cake was ready well on time. Also the taste, flavour, and quality was amazing. I will happily recommend them also I will be pleased to use them in the future. Many thanks Philip & Chris

Would like to say that I'm quite a conasaur when it comes to cake! This one we'll and truly is miles above the rest!! Freshly made waffles, fully customisable, and made with love- what's not to love :) I recommend booking on a Saturday as it's a true story of its own success- busy! We didn't book and were delighted to still be welcomed with a smile and found a seat! As you can see I particularly like the waffles!! Out of this world! DEFINITELY worth a trip to visit!
