Me and my partner love this cafe! It's incredible to have such wonderful food and service in a small town, we brought both our parents on separate occasions and each were thoroughly impressed.

The french toast is the best I've ever had, so much I've had it every time I visit. Likewise the iced matcha drinks are amazing, sweet without being over powering.

On a sunny day it's great to sit outside in the courtyard too, the over all atmosphere of the cafe is welcoming and very clean. They have the ability to move tables around to accommodate smaller and larger groups, sometimes they are fully occupied and due to being a walk-in cafe you may have a small wait time for a table but the staff will take your phone number and call you when your table is ready. The staff are engaging, friendly and give recommendations for both food and drinks.

Very few places provide this level of quality food, environment and service for what I deem great value for money. Keep being amazing BRUNCH!

What an absolute gem of a place. I recently visited Pigeons Parlour in Great Barr and was completely blown away by the entire experience.
The interior is a beautifully curated, nostalgic 1950s-style cafe, packed with wonderful details, vintage decor, and cosy crocheted blankets that make you feel instantly welcome.
The hospitality here goes far above and beyond. The kitchen actually closed at 4:00 PM, and even though we arrived well after that, the lovely lady who runs it still went right back into the kitchen to make a fresh, beautiful pot of tea and serve that incredible cake especially for us. The couple who own and run the parlor are just beautiful people.

I was served a traditional 1950s-style teapot complete with a knitted tea cosy, alongside a slice of homemade Victoria sponge cake. It was, without a doubt, the absolute best Victoria sponge I have ever had—perfectly light and unbelievable flavor. To top it off, my friend had a pint of Guinness and declared it the best Guinness they’ve ever tasted.
We are already planning our next visit to try their afternoon tea with sandwiches. We are fully committed to supporting this wonderful little independent business.
Thank you so much for your incredible kindness and for a brilliant experience—you have officially gained two new regulars. Highly, highly recommended. Will be back soon.
