My brother has been a butcher all his working life. From this I learnt what a good butchers shop is like. Poxons certainly fits the bill, sorting me out with food and local information I find invaluable. A good butcher let alone a great butcher rare.

we travelled from chelmsley wood to brownhills to get some fab quality products.(husband used to be a butcher,so knows his stuff!!)

there is a fantastic atmosphere in the shop. the shop is SPOTLESS.
such a shame we had to travel so far to get such quality.but it was well worth it.we will definately use these guys again.probably a visit every month and fill the freezer. I would urge everyone to give these guys a chance. shops like this are a rarity these days. well done Poxons.

Fantastic butchers, we have had some lamb ( which they cubed perfectly for us) and then went back for some steaks the following week, which again where beautifully cut, would highly recommend!! I will be returning!

I love black pudding, but only fantastic black pudding.....I lived in France and travelled all over Europe on business for 25 years, and I have tasted some great regional black pudding of many different recipes.
Well, yours is without a doubt the best I have ever encountered in the UK! Great texture, amazing deep flavour and a true delight cold or cooked - it makes a fabulous bed-partner to my home-smoked bacon.
Purchased from my local farm butcher near Tile Hill, West of Coventry. I've now got to catch up on 40 years of missed opportunity!
