Independently owned and run by Hamish Duncan, the highest medically qualified vet in the area, you can be sure of a friendly, compassionate service whatever your pet's needs. Services include:
Excellent personal service is the reason why many Walsall pet owners choose 387 Veterinary Centre and why most new clients come to the practice via personal recommendation.
Continuity matters. Choose to see the same vet at every visit - either Hamish or Carole - who both have, or are studying towards, additional advanced veterinary qualifications. All consultations are 15 minutes - 5 minutes longer than most vets - which enables the team to be thorough during examinations and to get to know you and your pet better too.
Book in to their one-to-one qualified nurse-led clinics or simply ask at reception for more information on pet management and diet.
387 Veterinary Centre is the only vets in Walsall to have a veterinary surgeon with a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine. Owner Hamish Duncan combines extensive knowledge of veterinary medicine with years of practical experience in caring for all kinds of pets.
387 Veterinary Centre is proud to have been awarded Investors in People accreditation in December 2013.
387 Veterinary Centre has Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons accreditation in recognition of its high professional standards of care. Recently extended and improved premises include an additional dedicated operating theatre, a diagnostic suite, a large prep area and an isolation room as well as extended high spec kennelling facilities and separate cat ward.
All x-rays and ultrasound scans are processed on site and equipment and facilities are constantly reviewed and invested in to provide clients with the best level of service and diagnostic approach. The practice's most recent investment is a digital dental x-ray machine producing amazingly detailed x-ray images: high quality dental x-rays are the only way to exactly identify problematic teeth and therefore perform cost-effective surgery with no unnecessary pain.
387 Veterinary Centre has the expertise and facilities to deal with most orthopaedic surgery in house as well as medical referral cases and more routine procedures. Following practical training, senior vet Hamish Duncan has adopted the TTA Rapid technique for cruciate disease, a procedure only developed in 2012.
The practice aims to make visits as comfortable as possible for both pets and their owners. Their large attractive reception is air conditioned - as are the consulting rooms - and there is a dog free area to keep cats and small pets calm while they wait.
Visitors can use the centre's secure, well-lit 13 space car park and for drivers with limited mobility there is a disabled space directly in front of reception.
Situated on the A34 between Bloxwich and Cannock, the practice is easily accessible from all directions.
