It is important to have a well-researched, well presented professional business plan in place. If you are just starting out in business, I always think you should treat it like a journey.....if you live in the south and need to get to Edinburgh the next day by public transport things look a bit daunting, but after some planning you will have a clear idea of how you will get there. You will know what time to leave, what journeys to book, changes to make and what time you have for comfort breaks etc. Your business planning is no different, if you are just starting out and want to run a business to give you financial independence the prospect is daunting, but plan it out and things become clearer, and will identify the steps you need to get there.

As well as providing you with a vital business start-up tool, if you are already established your business plan will be a requirement if you are considering expansion, and applying for investment funding from a financial institution or applying for grants.

Gareth Jolliffe of Aspire Business Support is a business support professional with experience of writing business plans at various levels. “we do not use off the shelf software packages or common basic templates, we use an easy to understand template that I have designed over the years to ensure your plan shows what you need in a way that is logical, concise and easily understood. The business plan will also be personalised to your business brand”.

Your plan produced by Aspire Business Support includes the following information as standard;

  • Company Information (inc. legal trading structure)
  • Owner(s) Information& Biography
  • General Company Description
  • Management Structure (if applicable)
  • Mission Statement
  • Marketplace Assessment
  • Core Business Services
  • Expansion Plans (if applicable)
  • Market Research (competed by customer)
  • SWOT Analysis
  • Marketing Plan
  • Sales Forecast
  • Cost of Sales (Fixed and Variable)
  • Year 1 Cash Flow Forecast
  • Profit & Loss Forecast*

*if advanced accounting is required, we can arrange this via our approved business partner at an additional charge.

The cost of this basic plan has been reduced to just £99 and provides exceptional value.

Additional Services

The following items can be added to your business planning package if required;

Plan on a Page - £25

We will supply our popular “Plan on a Page”, which forms a concise 1-page summary – ideal to support your pitch to potential investors, banking institutions, grant funders etc.

Market Research - £100

We will carry out market research on behalf of your business, which will be collated via a Survey Monkey questionnaire circulated via our professional social media networks, and we also encourage the customer to share as widely as possible to maximise results. We can also supply hard copy questionaires if these are also practical for the customer.

We will then analyse the data returned and include it in a professional format within your business plan.

Face to Face Start-up Meeting

If you would prefer your start-up meeting to be face to face, this can be accommodated at the venue of your choice. The cost is full inclusive of travel time and mileage, and is calculated by geographical area and assumes a consultation meeting of 4 hours duration. A PDF  showing the rates for this service is attached to this blog. For all areas outside of the coverage areas shown, please ask for a quotation, as these are available on request.
