Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled Isle of Man
There are those who live with physical disability, and it is specifically to offer support to disabled people that the Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled charity was set up in 1974. The Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled is the second oldest charity in the Isle of Man.
Disability Services offered include:-
Day services with a wide range of activities
'Young Ones' - aimed at developing skills in the community for 18 to 45 year olds
The Access Office - this the primary point of contact for advice, guidance and education on issues affecting disable people on the Isle of Man.
The Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled Charity holds fundraising events on the Isle of Man throughout the year. Here is a list of up and coming events.
The Foundation relies on the help of volunteers and would be delighted to hear from prospective helpers for their disability services. Here is an online enquiry form if this is of interest to you.
Donations to support the valuable work of the Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled are always welcomed, and you can be sure that any money you contribute will be used exclusively for the benefit of the physically disabled on the Isle of Man.
Please mention that you found the Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled featured under charities and disabled services on The Best of The Isle of Man.
