Bards at the Bookshop – half an hour of poetry at The Nairn Bookshop as part of the Nairn Book and Arts Festival.

Hidden Valley Guided Walk - enjoy a walk to Glencoe’s hidden valley, Coire Gabhail.

Fired Up Pop Up Restaurant @ Bicycle Barn at Bogbain - Award winning chef John Lockhart is bringing his pop up restaurant to the Bicycle Barn at Bogbain this weekend. 

Alan Barron Walk - Alan, accompanied by his dog Rowan, will lead a fascinating guided walk along Nairn's historic High Street (part of Nairn Book and Arts Festival)

SPANISH FLAMENCO NIGHT - Bringing the warmth of Spain to Nairn for one night only – join in for a celebration of sights, sounds and tastes from Andalucia and the surrounding area.

An exhibition presented by The House of Automata Mechanical wonders brought to life.  

PIRATE QUEST at Hugh Miller’s Birthplace Cottage & Museum 

Findhorn Heritage Centre & Icehouse - now open every day until the end of august.  

Health Walk @ Glan Tanar Visitor Centre - A Ranger-led walk, over easy ground. To recover/improve fitness & well-being.    

Summer Activities for Children - During July and August, the Highland Archive Centre, Bught Road, Inverness, will be delivering events for childrenbetween the ages of 8-11 years.

Doors Open Days: Jim Savage-Lowden Observatory - a chance to see the first observatory in the Highlands

The Prime Four Beast Race - BEAST yourself on an epic 10k obstacle race over rough terrain, dirt tracks and forest; take on mega obstacles; run solo or in a team

It's Alive! - Clockwork Automata - The House of Automata and Nairn Museum present a demonstration of rare clockwork automata spanning 200 years of mechanical life.

September Craft Spectacular - A wonderful collection of local craft exhibitors coming to the Spectrum Centre, many new exhibitors for you to look around and find that something special for you or that someone special!

BLACKTHORN ALLOTMENTS OPEN DAYS - find out from locals who currently run plots what it's all about. It's hard work but very rewarding and amazing to eat your own freshly grown produce.

Nairn Book and Arts Festival - Kids Day - Enjoy outdoor family fun, discovering something different around each corner!
