Tasty Ness is a celebration of the fantastic range of food and drink available throughout the Highlands of Scotland.

In its third year, the event takes place for 2013 at the Mecure Inverness Hotel on Saturday 9th November between 11am and 4pm and features an award-winning selection of artisan food and drink producers, restaurants and hotels showcasing their products all under one roof.

Top Chefs Christopher Trotter (Author & Fife’s Food Ambassador), Paul Clark from the Glenmoriston Arms and Duncan Chisholm of La Torrtilla Asesina will be cooking up a storm in the demo kitchen.

During the event, visitor’s taste buds will be tantalised by the vitality of each of the mini dishes on offer for them to sample at each stall as they walk around the exhibition.

Visitors can also enjoy mini master classes, demonstrations, special offers, music competitions and of course the shopping!  By taking part in one of the competitions visitors compete for the chance to be a winner on the day.

For the third year running organisers also have the Primary School Christmas Treat Competition taking place, which this year is sponsored by ASDA to get the kids involved in as well as some weird and wonderful foodie workshops in the Little Cooks School.

MFR (Moray Firth Radio) will also be present again this year and ASDA and will be raising money for MFR Cash for Kids.  Cash for Kids is the official charity of Moray Firth Radio and provides a helping hand to disabled and disadvantaged children around the Highlands, Moray and Aberdeenshire.
