Police would like to warn Country Watch members of a couple of incidents in West Oxfordshire.

Yesterday, Thursday 5 May, there were two thefts of electrical fencing at fields in farms at Ducklington and Brize Norton.

On the same day, a red Honda quad bike was stolen from a barn at a farm in Filkins. The incident happened at approximately 4:20pm when the farmer returned to his property to see the bike being driven away, followed by a van.

If you have information on any of these incidents please telephone police on 0845 8 505 505.

Please be aware that with extra visitors in the district over the summer months, now is a good time to review your security. If you would like specific advice you can contact the Crime Reduction Adviser on 01993 861638.
