To mark the centenary of the ending of the First World War Saint Cecilia Singers, The Oriel Singers, Gloucestershire Symphony Orchestra and Cheltenham Youth Choir are very excited to be joining forces in a performance of Jonathan Dove's moving work, For An Unknown Soldier, with James Gilchrist as the tenor soloist. The concert will also include individual 'sets' from the orchestra and each of the choirs in the first half, including performances of Ralph Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, two of Parry's Songs of Farewell, and Stabat Mater by Alissa Firsova.
