In a recent open letter to The Tewkesbury Chambers, Gary Pavey has made the following request for support:
Tewkesbury Town Colts (football club for 8 to 16 yr olds) has recently applied to Tewkesbury Borough Council for planning permission to expand its existing facility at Pamington to provide two senior pitches and two mini pitches. The Club is keen to develop and expand a youth football facility that Tewkesbury can pride itself on.
The application is due to be heard by the planning committee soon and at present the final decision is in the balance. The club therefore needs to demonstrate to the council that there is huge amount of support for this project in the Tewkesbury area.
In order to do this I would be grateful if you could use the link below to access the councils website and post a comment of support for the application. If in turn you could then forward it on to all your family and friends and ask them to do the same it would be very much appreciated.
In order for these comments to be considered by the planning committee they need to be posted on the council's website no later than 7th February 2011.
Please can you find the time to do this so that hopefully Tewkesbury Town Colts can be given a home to continue the development of childrens' football in the local area.
