Once, twice, three times a finalist for PR agency Vivid

Gloucestershire-based marketing communications consultancy Vivid is through to the finals of three categories in this year’s regional Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ PRide Awards.
The Tewkesbury agency is competing against top city agencies in the West of England after being selected as a finalist for its outstanding work in the PR and communications field.

The consultancy, run by directors Hilary Allison and Caroline Rawlinson, has been shortlisted in the ‘outstanding small PR consultancy’ category and for the ‘best use of digital PR’ for its work in launching a pioneering  Facebook page with thousands of new supporters for Cheltenham Racecourse.
And in the individual awards section, Vivid’s Account Executive and social media specialist Holly Knowlman, 23, has been shortlisted as Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year, for her work in developing Vivid’s social media business and leading social media campaigns for Vivid clients.

Vivid is the only Gloucestershire consultancy shortlisted in the ‘outstanding small PR consultancy’ section, for its excellent work over the last three years and is up against four Bristol PR agencies in the final.

Hilary said: “The Awards attract over 1200 entries across the country so we are delighted to be through to the finals in each of these categories. It shows that although Vivid is a small team it is capable of making a big impact and we are really looking forward to the finals in October.”

The CIPR’s PRide Awards scheme is the only one of its kind to showcase best PR projects and work across the country. It is judged by a panel of independent industry experts and sponsors include Precise media intelligence and PR Week magazine.
Jay O’Connor, CIPR President, said: “The CIPR PRide Awards are a celebration of PR achievement and a showcase of campaigns implemented by the best of the best across the UK.
I offer my congratulations to all those who have reached this stage of the competition. Now more than ever, demonstrating the value of what we do and the positive impact we have is tremendously important. Thank you to all involved – the entrants, judges and teams.”
