Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust has been named as a finalist in the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category of the prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2015.
Great news - Blists Hill Victorian Town, one of Shropshire’s 10 Ironbridge Gorge Museums is adding two new buildings to its ever expanding site in 2015.
A Shropshire museum is holding an ‘open-day’ to showcase volunteering opportunities for steam enthusiasts. Blists Hill Victorian Town, one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums, is looking to recruit new volunteers to become steam drivers at the museum
All through the school summer holidays, there are plenty of events on at the Ironbridge Gorge Museums to keep everyone entertained.
Following the resounding success of the inaugural Tourism & Attractions Show (TAS) earlier this year, the exhibition is moving to the interactive Enginuity design and technology centre at Coalbrookdale in the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, Shropshire for its second exhibition on Saturday, 8th March 2014 (10.30am-2.30pm).

The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust has once again been awarded two prestigious Sandford Awards for Heritage Education for Enginuity Design and Technology Centre and Jackfield Tile Museum.
