Spare a thought for China whose misery continues with more heavy rain this Friday 13th killing at least 29 people and trapping more than 10,500 in the latest natural disaster to hit the country.

As if this wasn't terrible enough the same area was hit hard during a massive earthquake back in 2008 which killed at least 80,000 people. The latest mudslides were concentrated in the villages of Quingping and Tianchi, communication with the area has been cut off and the landslide has 'altered the course' of the river which runs through the vilage.

At least 1000 people have died in floods in Central, Southern and Northeast China so far this year.
