Congratulations to Mike Buss, a former soldier who lives in Swindon has just shattered the previous record of running 50 marathons, back to back, over 50 days. In fact, Mike actually beat the existing record back at the beginning of August and has been running a Marathon a day ever since! Yesterday he completed his challenge (in full Army gear) to run 100 marathons in a 100 days and raised £35,000 in the process for the Military Charity Help the Heroes.

Mike Buss is planning to report his latest triumph to Record Holders Republic, which deals with treadmill challenges, to have it verified. In his quest to raise £100,000 for Help the Heroes, Mike is already planning his next challenge, carrying a 40lb pack up and down Mount Snowdon for 48 hours!
