The 79th Wanborough Show in Swindon was held at the weekend. All involved deemed it to be a huge success. Crowds of people turned out for the Summer Show and enjoyed a variety of acts from Equestrian events, Falconry displays, Dog shows and Live Music to name just a few.
The popular Swindon Carnival was also a big hit this year, with spectators lining the procession route through Wanborough. An estimated 2000 people visited the Show's attractions on Saturday and organisers hoped to raise £16,000 to cover the cost of the show next year.
I have personally been attending the Wanborough show since I was a child. It just seems to get better and better with every passing year. I can't wait to go again next year for the 80th Wanborough Show!
