Welcome to the new sound of 102.1 Bay Radio – the new name for Swansea Bay Radio. After over 2 years on air we’ve become famous for playing the best mix of music for South West Wales; a mix which covers the greatest hits from the past 4 decades as well as only the ‘quality’ songs of today. Why have we shortened our name? Well, for a number of reasons really. Many listeners have been calling us ‘Bay Radio’ since we started – it became like a nickname. Our signal does in fact go far beyond the Swansea Bay area..... so our new name travels further. When you switch us on in the car you’ll also find our new name fits neatly into the digital RDS display of your car radio. Also, because our new name is shorter – we can pack in and play even more of your favourite songs!
