On Wednesday 27th August from 2.30pm–4pm the team at Care UK’s Ladybrook Manor, on Dairyground Road, will be welcoming the people of Stockport for an afternoon of vibrant music, dancing, and island-inspired fun.
Guests can savour a delicious Caribbean barbecue, all while enjoying the vibrant sounds of Walthew House’s Steel Band.
Susan Cameron, General Manager at Ladybrook Manor, said: “We’re so excited to be opening our doors and welcoming the local community to join us for our Tropical beach day!
“Bringing people together is at the heart of what we do at Ladybrook Manor, and what better way to celebrate that spirit than with great music, good vibes, and a real sense of togetherness.
“We can’t wait for a day full of rhythm, laughter and connection and we’re hoping the sun will be dancing along with us too!”
Designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence, Ladybrook Manor provides full-time residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care, and incorporates plenty of space for leisure activities and hobbies.
The building has been configured into a series of neighbourhoods to help facilitate the creation of close-knit communities and encourage social interaction among the residents, and the home has its own couple’s suites, café and hair and beauty salon.
