About 23 of Stamford's independent retailers are taking part in an initiative to encourage shoppers to do their Christmas shopping in St Mary's Hill, St Mary's Street and Stamford Walk. They'll be offering special offers in December with vouchers and discounts. And there'll be a contest with all the participating shops donating goods towards the £1,000 prize hamper.
There are loads of great shops and shopping opportunities in Stamford, and there's really no need to sit in traffic and go anywhere else
