Recrion, the Stamford based Human Resources Consultancy,
became finalists in this year's Mercury Awards for Business of the Year.
The business was started by Katherine Wiid, seven years ago from her own home. Now based in the centre of Stamford, her business has achieved the success she hoped for
Katherine came to the UK from South Africa in 1995 wanting to continue her career in commercial recruitment. Recrion has done just that for her, offering independent and non biased employment expertise to companies both large and small. In addition to helping with recruitment issues, Recrion also help with mentoring and training for managers.
Katherine started the business working out of home but in 2006 opened offices on St Mary's Hill. She was nominated for the Mercury award by a colleague citing Katherine's objectivity, fairness and transparency in all dealings and determination to help raise standards in the recruitment industry as the vital reasons for Recrion's success.
Recrion are recruitment consultants who assist human resources departments within companies with essential services in their recruitment and people management endeavours. Their objectives are to support HR departments and their teams in many aspects of their work, and like to be considered as extensions to the internal HR department.
