Heartless Abandonment of Kittens on the Al

TWO six week old kittens need a home after being abandoned by the side of the A1 in a layby near Stretton.
Fortunately a lorry driver found the cardboard box containing them and took them to a roadside cafe. The cafe contacted the Three Counties Dog Rescue in Bourne who are looking after them. They've named the brother and sister
Milly and Merry, and are now hoping someone will give them a good home. Milly is a female black and Merry is a male tabby. The rescue centre is hoping that they will be able to find a home together.
Kittens shouldn't be separated from their mother until they are eight weeks old, and it defies belief that someone would be so cruel as to remove them only to abandon them by the roadside.

The Three Counties Dog Rescue have many other cats and dogs that need new homes. You can find out more by visiting their website here: www.threecountiesdogrescue.org or you can contact Gyll Mauchline on 01778 440318 or 07708 589792 if you want to live with Merry and Milly
