When Prince Charles visited Stamford on 22nd January, it was local Florist Mandy Richardson at Flowers by Mandy who was asked to do the flowers for the occasion.
Not that this should come as any surprise really. They are already the florist of choice for the two Funeral Directors in town, as well as holding contracts from many of our local schools, churches, hotels and nursing homes.

And it is such a nice place to visit! Nothing is too much trouble for the team at the shop, which is right by North Street Car Park. Mandy's shop used to be down by the Post Office, and was known as Mandy's Flowers in those days. But in 1998 she sold that business to devote time to bringing up her family.
She's been back trading in Stamford now for the last two years, and is going from strength to strength as the Prince Charles connection proves.
