As an extra to the Christmas Extravaganza planned for December 13th, Sukies and the Corn Exchange Theatre are opening their doors. Sukies will be providing teas and coffee, and the theatre itself will be hosting craft stalls from the Stamford Artisans Guild.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a cuppa whilst browsing the hand made items on sale from the Guild's members, and the Box Office for the Theatre will be open for the sale of tickets. The show for this evening is Five Star Swing - click here for more information.
Sukie's is your one stop party shop in Stamford, and as well as providing fabulous fancy dress costumes and accessories, sells everything you need for your party celebrations including a huge array of balloons.
Stamford Artisans Guild is the recently formed organisation for local craftspeople and artists. Their criteria are that members should live within a 25 mile radius of Stamford, and that everything the member offers for sale should be hand made by them. theya re hosting their own craft fair at the Arts Centre on 6th December, in place of the usual Christmas Fair provided by SKDC. All in all, this should provide an extra attraction in Broad Street to the day's festivities, with all proceeds from the tea and coffee going to the Corn Exchange Theatre.
