Care UK’s Hartwood, on Cannock Road, will host a series of open days across two weekends - from 31st October to 1st November and 14th November to 15th November – at 10 am – 4 pm.
During the events, visitors will be able to take a tour around the care home, which features a hair and beauty salon, a cinema, a cafe and a bar.
They will also have the opportunity to meet the team and chat to the Home Manager, Katy Anderson, before the home officially opens on Monday 9th November.
Katy, who brings 15 years of care experience, will lead a highly skilled, compassionate team, delivering expert residential, nursing and dementia care, with an emphasis on person-led care to enable future residents to lead fulfilling lives.
Katy said: “We're excited to be opening the doors to Hartwood and welcome the community into our wonderful new home.
“We understand the importance of creating a warm, home-like feel, which is why we encourage local people to visit, meet the team and learn why life in a Care UK home is special.
“We’re incredibly proud of the warm and welcoming environment we’re creating here, and we’re looking forward to meeting the people of Stafford and the surrounding areas so they can experience it for themselves!”
Designed to enable residents to lead active and fulfilling lives, while also promoting independence, Hartwood will incorporate plenty of space for hobby and leisure activities. The layout of the building will be configured into a series of individual suites, each having a dedicated lounge/dining room to facilitate the creation of close-knit communities.
