I ordered a Fathers Day afternoon tea box from Jennie's Cakes, and it was delicious. A good selection of cakes, which was more than enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Very good value. I will definitely order from here again.

When I booked the Discover Scuba course in early 2016 it was with some personal trepidation, but I booked it as a b’day present for my husband Paul, who’d done Scuba lessons at Uni (some 35 years earlier !) but had run out of money before he could complete the final Open Water dive. I could never have imagined at that stage what an enormous sense of achievement I would feel at the end of the full Open Water Diver course which we subsequently booked with Steve Clement. I’m still buzzing several days after finishing it ! We found the course to be so much more than simply learning a set of new skills & getting to grips with unfamiliar equipment. It truly has been a voyage of discovery, and we learnt so much about ourselves along the way which will stay with us long after the course. Steve and his family (and Steve & Janet Prior) are supportive of each other and this support is shared throughout the whole course and beyond, with students. Of course there are the PADI standards to adhere to, and skills to learn, but above all it’s the genuine desire to share the joy of scuba which shines through Steve’s teaching. As soon as we descended into the depths at Stoney Cove for our Open Water dive (again, a pretty scary thought for someone like me who hates the dark) I felt a sense of calm. It was a very special, very serene experience, but always safe in the knowledge that instructors are by your side, literally holding your hand the whole time. If you’re having doubts about whether to sign up for one of the courses, speak to Steve – he won’t do a hard-sell job on you, and is there to support you all the way. Take it from me, a lifelong nervous Nelly: If I can do it, anyone can !

Jennie made my cakes and cupcakes for my wedding, and also provided the desserts for the wedding breakfast. Everything about the service from Jennie was fantastic down to the brilliant cake topper she made of our beloved doggy!! Jennie also made a separate cupcake for a little boy which was dairy and soya free. Everyone thought the cakes and cheesecakes were beautiful and yummy!! Couldn't fault the service (or the price!) one bit! Thanks again. Tristan and Hayley x

Very impressed yet again with Safe Place who recently fitted us in at short notice for electrical work for an installation. I was very pleased when the installation company (based 30 miles away) said Safe Place were their preferred company, as Safe Place were going to be the company I would have used anyway after previous excellent work!! Nice to have it confirmed though! Safe Place left my house clean and tidy after completing the work, their communication and customer service is excellent and we received our electrical certificates very swiftly. I will continue to use Safe Place for any electrical work I need- many thanks.

Steve and his team have been amazing - Steve talked us through the whole process well, the quote was competitive, and we were kept well informed of who was coming and when. The work was tidy and the we are over the moon with the finished product. We would Highly recommend.
