Highly recommended !!!!<br>I purchased a classic car from Chris that needed a mild restoration and the whole process from buying it to getting it delivered which was sorted for me on purchase ,to literally having it dropped at my garage door was an easy process.<br>He does sell other cars and does vehicle services, tunes and does remaps and also aircon re gas.<br>If you’re in the area or passing and need any work on your vehicle doing, then look him up.<br>11/10

We use Total Auto for our 2 cars (MOT and service) and would highly recommend. They are quick, thorough and professional and I trust their advice. I recently had an issue with my oil, coolant and tires and Chris fit me in the next day to investigate and was very pragmatic and helpful to get it sorted. As a female, I don’t always enjoy taking my car to the garage but Chris always explains everything clearly and is helpful. Don’t hesitate to take your car here, best in the area for customer service by far.

Update of my review 30 sept 25,<br><br>I recently bought a car that I wanted inspected. I spoke to Chris about all my concerns and what I wanted to get looked at. They checked absolutely everything for me and gave me all their recommendations. I couldn’t ask for more honestly. Couldn’t thank them enough.<br><br>———Previous review——-<br><br>I’ve been coming to Total Auto for the past year now since I moved to St Neots.<br><br>Chris, which I believe is owner is what really made me come here. He was super honest and up front on my first inquiry, where’s others were soso. Just off of that first interaction I found my garage for life.<br><br>Never had an issue getting an appointment, super easy usually just shoot an email over and I got a response by tomorrow or even that same day.<br><br>Had my MOT, service<br>and diagnostic done here. Cant fault the team at all! Probably one of the fairest garages honestly. There was even a time where Chris went above and beyond to get me a different quote on a part I needed since the first was out of my budget.<br><br>Highly recommend, 10/10

We ordered cake from Jennie for our wedding, and she did not disappoint. Due to dietary requirements, we asked for two different cakes - which was no problem. The two-tier cake made normally, was lemon and blueberry at the bottom, and vanilla on top. The smaller cake, made gluten and diary free, was chocolate.<br>Both cakes were exceptionally good, with positive feedback from all guests (there was barely any leftovers). The free-from cake was moist and I doubt anyone would have been able to tell the difference.<br>Ordering was straightforward, and Jennie was fast to respond to any queries. She also made solid recommendations which we took on board. Would highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The MOT took less than an hour. Just bring in the car and in no time you get yourself a certificate. Very knowledgeable and thoughtful they answered all my questions. Highly recommended!

Our Ford Focus needed its MOT today and thankfully Tackwood was able to fit us in. The service was second to none and we are delighted to be new customers. The guy at the desk was brilliant, helpful and clear, really polite and made the whole experience less stressful than it usually is. Highly recommend!

Finding a new garage you trust is difficult , but Tackwood seem to be a really good choice! They fitted me in for an MOT at extremely short notice. They were super professional and efficient throughout and didn't try to charge me for any unnecessary extra work (which has often happened to me before!) Will definitely be coming back for any future work needed! 😁
