Soham vs Priory Parkside U11 CUP MATCH - 24th Jan 2010
Its been a while since the boys last played - Due to Xmas and the weather, but after being posponed twice we finally got to play the match - On a cold and very boggy Sunday morning. It has to be said not the easiest ground to find.
Kick off - 10.30am. We arrived and the first comment was '@@$%*"$ hell they are a big team' and made even Jacko look average, not to mention Joe....
From the first whistle all the lads were up for this and started the best we have seen this season
Within 10 mins a move started from the back all the way through the middle and great work from Jack M resulted in Alfie putting us 1 up.
Then about 10 mins later great battling from the whole team gave us another one with Matty finishing with a simple tap in....
All the boys then kept it going in the 2nd half with some really hard work and showing ther battling spirit, giving us a 3 -0 lead with Alfie netting his second, although Soham pulled one back the boys worked hard in very soggy conditions to record their 1st cup win...
Final score Soham (Big boys) 1 - Priory Parkside (its not all about size) 3

Well done all the boys it was fantastic to see that with hard work and fully concentrating you can beat anyone.
MOM for Priory - Jack Morrison played the way we all know he can and its been a while hey Jack
