The redevelopment of One Leisure St Neots which was completed in September 2010 has increased participation of leisure and fitness activities by 37% when compared the same month in the previous year.

Last year 369,000 people from St Neots and the surrounding area visited One Leisure St Neots and the impressive centre is now aiming to attract 500,000 visitors in the next 12 months.

Ensuring residents are healthy and lead an active lifestyle is one of Huntingdonshire District Council’s key priorities and objectives.  The investment into the District’s leisure centres to provide outstanding facilities for all ages and interests demonstrates how this is being achieved.

New facilities at One Leisure St Neots range from the luxurious Pure Health & Well-Being where adults can relax and be pampered to Leo’s Funzone indoor adventure play centre for children to burn energy and have fun through play.

The Impressions Fitness Suite is now situated on two levels and boasts 120 stations suitable for regular gym users or those starting out for the first time.  An additional air conditioned fitness studio also provides more opportunities to exercise with new classes including Ex-Bike, Vew-Do Balance Boards and Zumba

These are all complemented by spacious changing facilities with an ultra-high quality finish and attention to detail in every area where customers enjoy getting changed just as much as the activity itself.

Deborah Reynolds, whose executive responsibilities include Leisure said “Our substantial investment at One Leisure St Neots highlights our continuing commitment to providing an excellent leisure service for the whole of the District and we are delighted with the initial customer response. We look forward to continued success in the future.”
