For the opening ceremony of the Olympics on Friday 27th July, we thought what a great opportunity it would be for local sports groups and clubs to showcase their skills and encourage the community to get involved. Working with the Loves Farm Community association and Hunts DC together we are bringing a day of Olympic sport and fun to the local community!

Draw/Colour your favourite Olympic sport competition, winners to be announced at 8pm. All pictures will be displayed in the Reedmans Room and around the football club.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue service will be bringing the fire engine down to the football club and will be offering advice on fire safety - www.cambsfire.gov.uk

Hunts DC – Sport and Active Lifestyles team DASH project are offering a wide range of sports including dodgeball and basket ball - www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/activelifestyles

There will be a 5 aside football tournament, its £10 for a team, all money raised will go to Parkinson’s disease. Plus throughout the day there will be football coaching for all ages.

There will also be food available influenced by some of the countries taking part in the Olympics. The bar will be open all day and come the evening we will be showing the opening ceremony of the Olympics on the big screen.

Plus there are lots more to be announced! For more details call the club on 01480 470012 or email lucy@stneotstownfc.co.uk

We have lots of space still for groups and clubs to hold a demonstration or taster session. The more the merrier!
