New Macmillan Woodlands Centre Update
15th June 2015

With it now being four months since we launched our appeal to fundraise £1.2 million for the new Macmillan Woodlands Centre at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, I wanted to get in touch to give you a quick update on how things are progressing.

Since the launch of the partnership between Macmillan Cancer Support and Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust to build the new Macmillan Woodlands Centre we have seen great support from the local community.

As you might recall, we ceremoniously broke the ground to start the building work for the new Macmillan Woodlands Centre back in March. Since then, the building contractor has been very busy. Although the majority of the work completed to date has been below ground. The foundations have been completed and this week the steelwork installation has commenced along with low level block work.

Text your support

If you would still like to support the build, we have a Text 2 Donate code so it would be wonderful if you could help us spread the word about this. It couldn’t be more simple, just text ‘WOODLAND’ to 70550 to donate £5. If you’d like to find out other ways to donate, please visit www.macmillan.org.uk/hinchingbrooke.
