St Neots Diamond Jubilee Weekend Celebrations


What’s going on?

It is going to be a spectacular celebration, which the whole town can be proud of, so....

Saturday 2nd  and Sunday 3rd June (don’t go away on this Jubilee weekend; come and enjoy the celebrations!)

Tug of War Competition

Local groups, clubs and pubs are encouraged to sign up in advance for the competition, which will take place at the Diamond Jubilee event on Sunday 3rd June

Application forms are available on the Town Council website


Raft Race

Local groups, clubs and pubs are encouraged to sign up in teams for the raft race; raft building to commence ASAP!

Prizes for fastest and best dressed raft will be available

Official race to take place at Diamond Jubilee event on Saturday 2 June

Children’s Big Lunch

Market Square Saturday 2 June, 12-3pm

All children from St Neot’s primary schools (up to age of 12) will be invited to take part. Places will be offered on a first come first served basis

Children are invited to a fun afternoon of games, activities and entertainment.

Other highlights include:

  • Mark Jefferies Air Display, Saturday 2 June, 4pm
  • CAMRA Real Ale – Regatta Meadow all weekend
  • Dog Show
  • Horticultural Display, Priory Centre
  • 3km Fun Run in Priory Park, Sunday 3 June, 10am - with help from Riverside Runners (application forms available on Town Council website)
  • Beer barrel races, egg and spoon races, duck race, three legged races, sack races (entries available on the day itself)
  • Funfair all weekend
  • Firework finale on Sunday 3 June
  • Live acts on stage all weekend including a Queen Tribute headlining on Sunday Night
  • 70s & 80s Disco, Priory Centre, Fri 1 June (tickets can be booked through Priory Centre)
  • Neil Diamond Tribute and Dinner, Saturday 2 June, Priory Centre (tickets can be booked through the Priory Centre)
