A really awful company who took money from us without doing any work. They shouted at us down the phone and argued with us when we pointed this out to them.I phoned the boss of the company who made it clear that he did not want his weekend disturbed by our query. When they finally accepted that the work had not been done they blamed us for them not making a profit on the work, offered scant apologies and refused to provide us with a partial refund when we asked for one. Complete cowboys of the Grabbit & Run variety. You're a complete mug if you go to them to get work done- Avoid them like the plague.

We are truly sorry for the confusion on our part, which meant that the replacement of two rotten fence posts was not carried out as planned. This is the first time in over 6 years that anything like this has happened. As I explained to you, this was during a short time of unusual inconsistency for us, as our office manager was frequently absent due to a bereavement. We are truly sorry that you transferred money into our bank account six days after the planned date of completion without noticing that the work had been not carried out. This unfortunately added to our sincere belief that not only had your job been carried out, but you were also happy with our work. As we explained to you, Mark Wootton our Company Director was more than happy to take time out of his family holiday in The New Forest to call you back immediately to discuss your complaint. He was unfortunately trying to not be distracted by his three young children who were with him alone. We are also truly sorry that it took four weeks for you to notice that we had not carried out the work and that you phoned us on a Saturday to notify us of this, and that no one was available to come immediately to sort out the situation for you as requested. Mark came to visit you personally on the Monday morning to apologise profusely for our error and was glad to arrange for the work to be completed the exact same day. It took us less than 48 hours to rectify our mistake from your first call and we would have acted immediately had it not been a Saturday. We have not at any point blamed you for any lack of profit and we are sorry that you feel that way, and that you have felt unable to accept any of the many apologies offered both in person and in writing from both directors of the company. We feel that you have been unfair in calling us a 'Grabbit and Run' company as we have a unit and showroom in Little End Road where customers are always welcome to visit us and hope that our many positive testimonials help to show this is not the case. We appreciated the email we received from yourselves explaining that you had not in fact been shouted at and argued with down the phone, but are confused as to why you still felt you should write this inaccuracy in your testimonial. We are aware that if we had paid you the 25% refund that you asked for, then you would not have written us this negative testimonial or reported us to Trading Standards, as you explained in your email. However, we felt it only fair that our customers know that we are not machines but humans, who occasionally get things wrong. And that we always try to rectify things as soon as is humanly possible and strive to leave all our customers happy.

I was recommended to this firm by a neighbour .I phoned on Saturday morning, by lunch time a gentleman had arrived and measured the drive, by mid afternoon I had received a quote by e mail. On Monday I accepted the quote and two weeks later the drive was commenced. The two men who came were very friendly, hard working and very professional. The drive was excavated, rubble cleared and each night the site was left clean and tidy. Any queries and suggestions i had were taken into account and acted upon. On completion the site was left clean and tidy. I would award this firm 5 stars.
