We brought our 8 year old here today for a Bubblemaker experience, and he loved it! The instructor was great, equipment top-notch and our son can't wait to come back in a couple of years for the next level!
Richard - 13th January 2018 Going on holiday where I can do some diving but have not dived for 12 years, although I did qualify PADI open water back then. so I thought I needed a refresher course and asked Steve at Ocean Adventure if he could provide it. Well what can I say, it was great, extremely professional but fun. He provided the pre course material and we spent a couple of hours going over this before we went to the pool and spent another couple of hours putting it all into practice. At the end of all this I felt confident that when I go on holiday I am able to cope with any eventuality. Steve is an excellent instructor making thinks simple and fun while making sure you understand everything. If you want to do anything to do with diving I would recommend Steve and Ocean Adventures, he really cares and always puts safety first.
Just finished the Padi Open Water course with Steve Clement and Steve Prior. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Steve Clement was excellent in arranging days for pool & open water dives and always available to answer any questions? While Steve will always focus on safety, but there's always abundance of fun, games and Steve's dry wit. I wish learning new stuff would be this much fun. Once I get my fins wet a few times, I'll give Steve a shout for the Advance Open Water.
I have very recently gained my PADI scuba diver qualification with Steve Clement ahead of a holiday where I'm very much looking forward to putting the skills I've learnt in to practice. Steve is great at putting people at ease and most of all making the experience fun! It was also lovely to meet Steve Prior and Janet for the open water dives and gain from their experience too. I would definitely recommend Ocean Adventures for an enjoyable and flexible scuba diving learning experience.
Booked my 10 year old shark-mad future marine biologist in for a taster session. Steve and Nicky were very experienced and easy going, and made him feel completely at ease. Everything was pitched to a level and pace that suited him and he had - by his own admission - the best fun ever. He learnt about the basics of keeping himself safe underwater, communication, and buoyancy techniques. He grew in confidence very quickly., mainly because of Steve’s clear instruction and reassurances. My son can’t wait to do it again!
Fantastic Introduction to Scuba taster session! The 3 of us were looked after well by our brilliant instructor Steve. Equipment explained, hand signals and safety discussed.. but not too long before we were in the pool. We were tested with our recovery drills to ensure we could manage tricky situations underwater.. and let loose to cruise around and enjoy being under water. Great fun.. definitely recommend to anyone wanting a safe and fun environment to see if scuba is for them.
I took my Open Water Diving course with Steve Clement from Ocean Adventure Diving about a year ago. I found Steve to be knowledgeable and very easy going. He carefully explains what is expected, why you are doing it and how to do it safely. He really goes the extra mile to accommodate all his students. I am not a lover of the cold, so Steve suggested we take the open water diving somewhere warmer. I completed the course in Cyprus with Steve helping me every bit of the way. I have now just completed my Advanced Open Water Course after only 24 dives! Steve accompanied me to the Red Sea and made sure I completed all the requirements necessary. He tested me daily on new material, and took me down to the 30M depth required to complete the course. I couldn't recommend him enough. He is always there to give advice, encouragement and to share in the diving experience! If your thinking about Scuba diving, need a review, or want to take an advanced course, Ocean Adventure Dive College is the best place to go!
I've done the dry suit course with Steve and he is a wonderful Instructor. Made things so easy to learn and fun. I still have an open water dive to perform which I'm so excited for it. Steve is very professional, easy going and goes the extra mile to make your diving experience memorable. I totally recommend this company to everyone at all levels and I will be diving with them from now on. Keep up with the amazing work :)
Steve from Ocean Adventures provided myself and my wife Scuba training prior to our honeymoon. Although we had very little experience he helped us through the course and provided very good training sessions that were clear, easy to work through and most importantly fun. Having taken part in a discover scuba diving session elsewhere previously which wasn't a particularly good session we were left a little unsure of what to expect. This couldn't have been further from that, brand new equipment and great tuition. Steve has a wealth of knowledge with diving and made sure our every need and worry were addressed without delay. I would certainly recommend Ocean Adventures for anyone wishing to start out or progress with their diving.
Never had I had so much fun gaining a qualification which I am sure will become invaluable to me. Worth every penny, the lessons were very enjoyable and easy to follow. Steve is a really great guy and a fantastic instructor, would definitely recommend to anyone!
I can highly recommend Steve Clement as a dive instructor. His level of professionalism and safety standards are really high. He is knowledgeable and can make your courses great fun. Working as a dive instructor myself i would not hesitate to send any of my friends or family to make a course with Steve. Excellent service with a smile.
I had the pleasure to meet Steve and to work with him in Egypt. Honestly, one of the most professional scuba instructors that I have met. As a scuba instructor myself, would not hesitate to recommend him to teach my family and friends.. his focus on safety is refreshing to see.
My 12 year old son and I took part in a learn to diver taster session. We had great fun and now want to progress to a full qualification, we will definitely use this company as we felt really looked after regards to safety but also we were reassured when we felt nervous to start off with. The equipment that was supplied and the instructors were to a very high standard.
I was very impressed with the enthusiasm and knowledge of PADI instructor Steve Clements. He put him self out to accommodate my friends shift patterns. Without that level of customer service, my friend wouldn't have had time to complete his PADI Certificate to be able to dive on our holiday to Maldives. Steve was so supportive throughout the course, especially when we had a few issues in getting the skills right. What a professional.
I took my Open Water course with Steve and the crew. They made it all so easy and were very helpful in giving me not just canned lessons but practical diving knowledge and tips. They have so much experience in diving different parts of the world, and teach with the knowledge and skills they have gathered over the years. I now plan to continue with the Advanced Open Water Course and my goal is achieve Rescue diver. I am confident Steve and the team can help me reach that goal.
Have seen the Dive Centre grow & develop from the beginning. Watched the Instructors make everyone they deal with feel as if they are the only ones - a nice personal touch. As an Instructor myself, I know how 'difficult' this can be as, 'the customer is always right', Ocean Adventures Dive College make it look natural - well done :-) Would definitely recommend them to anyone wishing to 'test' the dive waters.
Just been on a diving trip to Egypt with Steve from Ocean Adventure Diving College a fantastic trip and met some fantastic people. A big thanks to Elite Diving in Sharm!! Thistlegorm done!!! Yay
Diving is awesome! This is something I have wanted to do for years and an upcoming trip to Thailand with someone that dives, finally gave me the push I wish I'd had years ago. Everything about the course was fully explained by Steve and he worked around my busy schedule to make sure that I was certified in time for the trip. Now I can't wait to get back in the water and look forward to doing more courses soon. If you're thinking about diving, then just do it, and when you do, give Ocean Adventures Scuba Diving Dive College a call first.
Having just completed the Open Water course, i have found a love for diving! This has been invigorated by the high class of teaching by Steve. By combining plenty of practical work alongside the theory this course has been fun and exciting. I will highly recommend the company for any future divers!
When I booked the Discover Scuba course in early 2016 it was with some personal trepidation, but I booked it as a b’day present for my husband Paul, who’d done Scuba lessons at Uni (some 35 years earlier !) but had run out of money before he could complete the final Open Water dive. I could never have imagined at that stage what an enormous sense of achievement I would feel at the end of the full Open Water Diver course which we subsequently booked with Steve Clement. I’m still buzzing several days after finishing it ! We found the course to be so much more than simply learning a set of new skills & getting to grips with unfamiliar equipment. It truly has been a voyage of discovery, and we learnt so much about ourselves along the way which will stay with us long after the course. Steve and his family (and Steve & Janet Prior) are supportive of each other and this support is shared throughout the whole course and beyond, with students. Of course there are the PADI standards to adhere to, and skills to learn, but above all it’s the genuine desire to share the joy of scuba which shines through Steve’s teaching. As soon as we descended into the depths at Stoney Cove for our Open Water dive (again, a pretty scary thought for someone like me who hates the dark) I felt a sense of calm. It was a very special, very serene experience, but always safe in the knowledge that instructors are by your side, literally holding your hand the whole time. If you’re having doubts about whether to sign up for one of the courses, speak to Steve – he won’t do a hard-sell job on you, and is there to support you all the way. Take it from me, a lifelong nervous Nelly: If I can do it, anyone can !
I’ve been doing my PADI Open Water course with Steve - it’s been confidence inspiring practising the required skills with him, going over bits that didn’t click first time until I was happy. Steve is calm, friendly and practical. I’m looking forward to becoming a qualified recreational diver!
We did our Discover Scuba course at the weekend (bought as a b'day present for my husband) and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Steve Clements was calm, patient and encouraging throughout. I was apprehensive about the theory, and remembering everything, but once I was in the water I found that a lot of it just fell into place. Thanks so much for the intro Steve. I can thoroughly recommend.
Just completed my advanced open water with Steve and Simon at Guildenburgh on Saturday, Really professional and friendly making sure I was ok at all times. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try Scuba Diving or becoming more qualified... Rescue then Dive Master for me..
Despite the weather at Jesus green today, the group still showed up enthusiastic and ready. They did a good job cleaning the pool and remained upbeat and friendly to all the public (and staff) who may have had any queries about SCUBA. We are looking forward to hosting a regular day with the team to showcase and educate others in the skills and techniques required. A big thank you to the team from the Jesus Green Lido Team and Members.
Just did my "Discover Scuba" course last weekend with Steve and Gary. At first i was apprehensive and didn't know what to expect as my dad bought me the voucher for my birthday. They were brilliant and I really enjoyed the course. In total it was just over 2 hours - 1 hour finding out how things worked and the basics of scuba diving. and then an hour in the pool. Loved it and can't wait to do more!!
