Little Aqua’s children’s swimming lessons are taught in small classes to ensure every child gets special attention and plenty of swimming time with minimal waiting around. Unlike many swimming lessons, Little Aqua's instructors are in the water during the sessions, which has been proven to be the most effective way to build children’s confidence and skills in the water.
Despite the planning and structure that goes into their lessons, the instructors teach in a sensitive and fun way so that children enjoy their lessons and are motivated to try hard. Over more than 6 years Little Aqua have taught over 1500 children to swim, and some have gone on to county and regional competitions.
Their innovative approach to swimming instruction uses no buoyancy aids yet still makes children comfortable in the water at an early age; in fact if you start your child’s swimming lessons at the age of 2½, we aim to have them completing their 25m swimming badge by the age of 5, which is 6 years ahead of National Curriculum guidelines.

Private Swimming Instruction

These weekly 30-minute classes are at a 1:1 ratio. Your child receives 100% teaching attention and time during the lesson making their progression quicker. from £20 per session.* |

Semi-Private Swimming Lessons
|
These weekly 30-minute classes are at 2:1 ratio with two swimmers of similar ability. Great for 2 children that are best friends, or LittleAqua can pair up children who are of a similar age and ability. £13 per session.* |

Club Swimming Sessions |
These sessions allow more advanced swimmers to swim in a competitive environment, but still have the guidance of their coaches to improve their skills. Sessions are weekly for 30 or 60 minutes. |

Crash Course
|
Crash courses are a 1:1 lesson each day for 5 days - great for improving skills and techniques, or building confidence before a summer holiday so your child can really enjoy the hotel pool! |

As well as St Neots, swimming lessons are available in Biggleswade, Bourn, Buckden, Cambourne and Huntingdon.
Disability Swimming
Over the years Little Aqua have taught children with various disabilities to swim. They are happy to adapt swimming lessons to meet the needs of each child, and will progress towards the same swimming awards as other children. Disability sessions are all 1:1 but at a heavily discounted rate - please contact Little Aqua to find out more.
Summer Camp
A great fun activity for the long summer break. Each day of the summer camp will include multi-skills and games that are designed to help speed, stamina and coordination within the pool, finishing with a swimming lesson where all the skills can be practised.
Raindrops Baby Swimming Classes
We also have parent-and-child classes for ages 0-2½ that introduce your baby to swimming early, and prepares them to be confident swimmers later in life. Swimming is a natural experience for babies, and water-based activities will achieve much more than just letting your baby splash about!
