We love this experience as a family, including the dog. The staff are lovely and provide a thorough walk through at the start. We did the locks for the first time and had a wonderful day out. Would highly recommend and we will be going again.

Simple to ring and book the day before we wanted to hire. The person who we dealt with was lovely and professional. Gave us great instructions for the hire and the boat was easy to use. We enjoyed a scenic 2 hour cruise up and down the river, stopping at a cafe for a snack and drink. Would definitely recommend, and would use this service again.

I hired Bruce for 2 hours as a present for my husband’s 29th birthday. The greeting and service we received was friendly, clear and informative. A wonderful couple of hours spent exploring the river. Our 2 children loved it too! Highly recommend.

We had a first time boat hiring today. What a fab refreshing afternoon we had as a family.
The lady & her lovely son was welcoming & great. We was delayed (which was no fault on the company) due to the people before us didn’t come back in time. So the lady added us our extra time so we still got what we had paid for. The boat was great, the instructions was easy to understand, views were beautiful & in 31 dregree’s pure sunshine the breeze was lush!
Will 100% be back & recommending to family & friends. - thank you

We went on date this week on Dory. A delightful little boat to have a gentle trip down the river, through a lock, moar up for a short while and head back again.
We had a friendly welcome and a full briefing which helped me fill the boots of being captain for the first time ever 😊

Hands down the best day out we've had in a long while. Jade was instantly welcoming and felt like a friend, offered us an upgrade as we were early for the boat/slot we'd booked (chose to hang out and wait for the one we'd chosen). Instructions were clear and made us feel confident on the water (first time sailors). Such a lovely stretch of water to sail along under the setting sun, and such great value for money. Will definitely be booking again anytime I'm visiting town!

Everything was very well organised and went smoothly, great briefing beforehand for us novice boaters.
The whole family enjoyed our two hour trip and even the dog had a wonderful time.

My family and I took out the first boat of the season, apparently.
Booking a boat was made easy and efficient through the website, with timely reminders and useful information provided beforehand.
We were met by a very friendly team member and given a full safety briefing, including how to operate the boat, river etiquette and lock navigation. She was also able to provide some very useful tips and local knowledge to enhance our trip down the river to the lock.
As novices in boat knowledge, we were a little nervous at first but this feeling soon went as we got to grips with what to do and how to do it, as well as enjoying the peacefulness of the river with all the sights to see.
Nature was beautiful to experience (we were lucky in having a lovely sunny day). We spotted many birds, a kingfisher and the charming ducks and swans.
All in all this provided a truly relaxing experience. I hope to take my family there again, at some point. Thanks to everyone involved.

It was pouring of rain on the day and we were thinking of cancelling, so glad we didn’t as by the time we arrived the rain had stopped and the sun came out!

Excellent welcome. Full information given to us before we departed. Beautiful river journey. We saw kingfishers, herons, swans and ducks. We bought duck food at the start. We also took our dog. Boat in excellent condition. We had a calming and relaxing 'voyage'. Plenty of places to stop and tie up if you wanted to. Would recommend highly.

Me and my family had a wonderful 4 hours boat trip in Dory on 15/08/2024. The hirers were extremely patient as I was a bit nervous about boat handling and doing a lock, so much so that the hirer helped me do a lock just upstream, which really helped build confidence and ensure we enjoyed wonderful time.

A really fun trip out on the river with a lovely boat. The instructions were super clear and the experience was very friendly. The boat was easy to operate and so was the sound system which added to the journey. It was great fun to take a relaxing trip up the river.

My family and I rented the boat ‘Nemo’ for the day and it did not disappoint! Alongside the beautiful scenery, we had a thorough briefing of how to get through the locks (which we definitely needed!!) We would 100% recommend hiring a boat from here as it was so much fun and they were extremely helpful!
