I can't recommend or rate highly enough the service provided by Alan. Within an hour of our initial phone call Alan came to assess the damage from a fallen tree. Work was carried out in a fast, friendly and efficient manner at a reasonable price - you can't get better than that! I will certainly recommend their services to anybody and now know who to call should I need further work doing. A five star service!!

We have had Alan to care for our trees and hedges for many years. His service is always highly professional and friendly. Like us, he cares for the natural world so is cautious to work when there is no risk to birds or animals. We have high standards for our garden, having opened our gardens for Godmanchester in Bloom since the event began. Alan meets our needs to the highest level.

A very professional, expert outfit. A team of four came to cut back overhang on our 40/50 foot ash tree. A fast, efficient service. Alan was able to offer advice regarding what to cut back and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. Alan was also very helpful with a last minute concern over a TPO. When I asked if he would be able to come back another time and cut the top out of a smaller tree he kindly offered to cut it back at the end of the day if he had time, which he did. We shall be contacting Alan when we require any further tree work done.

Alan came round promptly (on a Sunday morning!) to give me a quotation and arrived a week later with a team of four to do the job which consisted of cutting off the overhanging branches on 5 trees, and the complete removal of another medium sized tree. An added bonus was that he also took away a large pile of branches etc. which I had myself removed from a hedgerow and fruit trees earlier and which were too large to go through my domestic shredder. The whole job was done expeditiously and I was delighted with the result. Everything was left clean and tidy and all timber removed. As a result of this job I would definitely have Alan again and can thoroughly recommend him for a professional experience from start to finish.

Alan and his team came today and within an hour had taken down the conifer in our garden! They were prompt, worked fast and had the tree taken down, plus another one cropped, within 2 hours. They also tidied up and left our garden looking all the better for their visit!! Highly recommended.

I've been buying my logs from Alan Linger for a few years now and have always had excellent service and great value logs. I recently used their company to remove a large eucalyptus tree in my garden. This was by no means an easy task as the tree had to be felled in a very confined space. I was most impressed by the skill and efficiency displayed by Alan and his staff. The job was completed speedily and everything was left clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Alan Linger both as a tree surgeon and supplier of quality logs.

Alan has just finished pruning 2 trees and completely removing a fairly hefty cherry tree. He was very quick to provide a quote and the work was carried out quickly, efficiently and on the day advised. (He even rang to advise that he was going to be a couple of hours later than first expected.) I would certainly recommend him for any tree work that needs doing.

Alan and his team recently removed a large tree in our front garden. On phoning to enquire, Alan returned my call within 24 hours and gave us a quote immediately upon inspecting the tree. Alan and his 2 colleagues removed around 40 shrubs that made up a hedge shared between ourselves and 2 neighbours. The price was very reasonable. They were all very polite. The hedges were removed very quickly and all rubbish removed, the area was left very tidy. I highly recommend his company.

Alan came and quoted us to cut back some conifer trees in our back garden and his rates are very reasonable. The work was carried out to a very high standard in a timely manner, and Alan and his co worker were exceptionally tidy throughout.
