St Albans Got Talent Are Fund Raisers working for the community, by people within the community. We have helped raise funds for many charities, community projects and much more whilst having a lot of fun doing so! This year we are raising funds for the St Albans Town Hall Art Gallery and Museum.
We are looking for Co-Ordinator Volunteers to assist us with making this year even more exciting. We require 2 – 4 Co-Ordinator volunteers plus any additional people that can offer assistance from each area planned.
We are holding a weekly audition in a central venue in each of the 14 Parishes around the St Albans area, which are listed below.
St Albans Got Talent are visiting these areas…
7. FLEETVILLE – ASHLEY & CLARENCE
8. COLNEY HEATH
9. LONDON COLNEY
10. CUNNINGHAM – CELL BARNES
11. COTTON MILL & SOPWELL
12. CHISWELL GREEN
13. ST. ALBANS CITY TOWN, ST PETERS & VERULAM
14. PARK STREET & BRICKETWOOD
Co-Ordinator Volunteers duties would include the following;
1. Social media
2. Distribution of leaflets in the main high street and communal venues of your local area
3. Fund raising from local businesses
4. Recruiting local judges from your selected area
5. Attend occasional follow up meetings
6. Assisting on the Audition day in their area also the Semi Finals & Finals
St. Albans Got Talent 2015 winners Purple Day have been very busy since their first auditions! They have been gigging on a regular basis and have now even been approached by Britain’s Got Talent to audition for the UK Competition! With thanks to us here at St Albans Got Talent.
