Science and Engineering Day is the University of Southampton’s FREE one-day of discovery suitable for all ages. Welcoming people from across the UK to take part in over 140+ interactive exhibits, talks, laboratory tours, workshops and science shows, there's something for everyone to enjoy!
As in previous years, Science and Engineering Day will return to conclude British Science Week, on Saturday 14th March, at Highfield Campus and Boldrewood Innovation Campus at the University of Southampton.
Join researchers, artists and local community groups to discover some of the amazing research and activity taking place at the University of Southampton and the wider region, while visiting some of the University of Southampton's state-of-the-art facilities.
Science and Engineering Day is the flagship event of Southampton Science and Engineering Festival (SOTSEF), 6th - 15th March 2026, the University of Southampton's annual award-winning interdisciplinary science festival that allows everyone to explore and discover what the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) has to offer.
The event is FREE to attend, but all visitors are required to book a general admission ticket in advance via the website link provided.
