Los Costureros (the tailors) is a four piece latin band based in Devon. They weave their English-Brazilian-Spanish-Australian cultures together with 3 piece harmonies, passionate guitars, incredible percussion, funky bass & groovy horn lines!
Inspired by the great artists like Buena Vista Social Club, Gilberto Gil & The Beatles, their unique style takes you on a journey of slow-danced boleros, catchy bossa novas & hip shaking Rumba Catalana!
After 3 years of touring around the UK festival scene, playing festivals such as Medicine Festival, LoveJam and Buddafield, Los Costureros travelled to Spain for 2 months to record their Debut Album. The songs were written on the green pastures of Devon, the blue beaches of Mataro & recorded in the red mountains of Catalunya. The album blooms with the colours of this musical journey.
