Danny Walden is truly unique. I have dealt with hundreds of Sales and Account Managers but Danny Walden is the most outstanding I have had the pleasure to work with. Over the years, I have met many of Danny's customers and they like and trust him. His levels of customer satisfaction and retention are incredibly high, which has resulted in one of the largest customer bases in the industry. You can only achieve this level of success with passion and enthusiasm, which Danny has in huge amounts, plus he is the hardest working person I have ever dealt with, unusually so for a salesperson as successful. His product knowledge is extremely high, which means he always gets the right solution for the customer.
We have had a very good relationship with Danny at Midshire now for many years and do receive generous support from them. They are extremely efficient and proactive in ensuring that our printing and copying needs are met, and always provide an excellent customer service. Their team is very friendly and approachable and they really do make us feel like a special and valued partner. Midshire have also supported us with our marketing and promotion, by designing and executing a website and physical strategy document. This has proven to be influential in helping us to promote awareness of our organisation and our work and has played a part in our growth and development over the last couple of years. Being a charity we also admire and respect the additional work that Midshire do for good causes in local communities. As a company and as individuals they appear genuinely committed to supporting charitable causes.
Danny has always supported me above and beyond. I first met Danny in June 2010, when he came to discuss the school's needs. He gave me a quote alongside two others. I liked his manner and felt confident that he would be able to support the school in delivering the best solution for us. Since that time I have trusted Danny 100% to deliver and to support me in providing the best and the most affordable reprographic solutions for the school. I have fully recommended Danny and Midshire Business Systems to other schools within the LA and have done this without hesitation. Whenever I have had to raise any problems with Danny, he has always done his level best to resolve the issue. I can't thank him enough for the support he has given me and the school. To conclude, nothing is too much trouble for Danny, he is always there to support me and to offer solutions to any problems that may arise.
Danny has always been very supportive of the Solihull School Business Manager Group. Initially, as an existing supplier to some of the schools, he came along as an exhibitor to one of our conferences and besides demonstrating the latest products, donated some fantastic prizes for our raffle – which were the talk of our members for some time. Knowing that Midshire were once again attending encouraged more schools to come along to our conference the following year.  The Head of one of our local primary schools actually asked me to make sure his Bursar got an invite as they had won a prize from Midshire the year before. Solihull is quite a small local authority and therefore The Solihull Schools’ Business Manager Group is one of the smaller local groups. Without the support of our exhibitors, running our annual conferences would not be financially viable and Danny introduced us to other areas of the Midshire group, who also then came along as exhibitors. Once again, some fantastic raffle prizes were donated to schools. More recently, Danny has arranged for two of the Midshire group organisations to sponsor our website, a new initiative for us.  Not only will this provide us with further valuable financial support, it will enable Midshire to provide relevant company notifications to all our members and will also enable our members to ask any questions they may have of Midshire via a quick and easy forum. I have always found it a pleasure to deal with Danny. He is always keen to support us without being at all pushy and I genuinely believe he has the interests of our schools at heart rather than a narrow-minded focus on making a sale.  He is calm and professional with a real ‘can-do’ attitude, taking time to listen and get to know his contacts and resolving any issues quickly and efficiently should they arise. I hope we can continue to work with him in the future.
Danny is very personable and comes with a smile. He has a time conscious, no nonsense approach (which is greatly appreciated in our busy environment). Danny has been the only rep that has offered to log the current usage on all the network printing devices, to ensure that he provides the correct capacity machines for our needs i.e. did not oversell.  He exudes a confidence in his field of knowledge and is very adept at putting this into layman’s terms and responds very quickly to requests (but never pressurises for a quick sale, appreciating that for school’s decisions are made by Governing Bodies that do not meet frequently).
We consulted Danny when we wanted to move to a managed print solution. As a school we are under immense pressure to reduce our costs. Whilst understanding this was our main driver, Danny was keen to ensure that any changes we made would also fully meet the needs of the school and improve our printing and copying capability. Danny worked with us over a 9-month period and together, we evaluated what would be the best solution. He presented us with various options and sufficient information for us to make a fully informed decision. Following a competitive process, we were delighted to be able to award the contract to Midshire. Danny came in on the day the new machines arrived and oversaw the installation throughout – even checking in with me to ensure everything was OK from the top of a mountain at the weekend! Danny is also providing me with an excellent service following the installation, with prompt responses as and when a query arises. I would certainly recommend Danny as a brilliant example of how customer service should be. So many companies send the sales person in to get the contract and then you never see them again! As an individual Danny is positive, adaptable and has a great sense of humour. It is a pleasure to work with him.
Danny is always on hand to support the needs of the charity, and deal with queries that previous companies would have left us to fend for ourselves over. He in particular has helped us maintain great continuity and is always reachable by phone. He’s a pleasant gentleman who priorities the needs of our organisation over anything else. He pays attention to what goes on in the organisation and supported us in our fundraising efforts to raise money for clients we wouldn’t normally be able to help.
I have been working at Balsall Common Primary School for four years, and Midshire Business Systems has been the supplier of our photocopiers. Over the years Danny and Midshire Business Systems have been very quick to respond to any issues with our photocopiers and printers and brought about swift resolutions to any problems with the minimum of fuss or drama. Danny Walden is our Account Manager and has gone way beyond the call of duty in order to help us. Danny has also been instrumental in Midshire becoming a sponsor of the school and always goes the extra mile to support us. He has supported our Newsletter, Rugby Team and also attended the Head's Quiz to offer his support. In the four years I have been working with Danny we have built up a great relationship and I would like to consider him as a friend as well as a work colleague. He is always polite, positive and happy. He is a credit to Midshire and the business community. I look forward to continuing and growing our relationship further.
