Haha! Well there won't be green gunpowder bunnies (I don't think) but it did get your attention didn't it! However the Friends of Oare Gunpowder Works and Swale Arts Forum are inviting you to attend their 'Artists in the Woods' green festival held at, you guessed it - Oare Gunpowder Works, Bysing Wood Road, this Sunday July 8th.
There will be 4 music stages covering a huge breadth of musical genres, in addition to many arts and crafts exponents including photographers, metalworkers, sculpters, wood carving, ceramics and many more.
On top of this there will be childrens workshops, poetry recitals, various demonstrations and walks around the site, as well as tons of great food and refreshments. Car parking will be £1, but entrance is free. Hopefully the weather will stay good so come and show your support for local produce and talent at the greenest festival around!
